TOUR ITINERARY

DAY  01: Amritsar Arrival
Arrival at Amritsar Railway Station / Airport drive to Hotel, check in to room. Evening visit Wagah Border to watch Border Retreat Ceremony. The pageant of the beating of the retreat and the change of guard within handshaking distance of the Indian and Pakistani forces here makes the most charming of the spectacles as a daily evening drill. Ascertain the timings before you leave to see this spectacle since these are changed seasonally. Wagah is the only land border open between Pakistan and India. Night stay in Amritsar.
Day 02: Amritsar (Full day sightseeing) - dalhousie (200 kms / 4.5 hrs)
Morning after breakfast visit Golden Temple -is the most sacred temple for Sikhs. It is a symbol of the magnificence and strength of theSikh people all over the world. In the evolution of the Darbar Sahib, is entwined the history and ideology of Sikhism. In its architecture are included, symbols associated with other places of worship. This is an example of the spirit of tolerance and acceptance that the Sikh philosophy propounds.
Also, visit Jallianwala Bagh- Martyrs’ Memmorial built in the shape of eternal flame of liberty is situated on the outskirts of Golden Temple. Here about 1500 and 2000 persons who were attending a peaceful meeting during the freedom movement fell under the bullets of the British General Dyer on 13 April 1919 and the city of Amritsar.
Afternoon drive to dalhousie . Upon arrival check at Hotel. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 03: Dalhousie - Khajjiar

Morning after breakfast Full day sightseeing to Khajjiar, 18 kms from Dalhousie. It’s one of the most scenic saucer shaped Plateau and is surrounded by dense pine and deodar forests. Its beauty has further been enhanced by a small lake in the center with a floating island and a 9 hole golf course here are the other interesting places to cover. Return to Dalhousie. Dinner & overnight stay at the hotel in Dalhousie.
Day 04: dalhousie - Dharamsala (120km / 3.5 hrs)
After breakfast visit to Chamba Valley known for its 8th century Laxminarayan temple and Bhuri Singh Museum which houses a rare collection of Kangra Pintings.Baijnath – the oldest existing Shiva temple in the country, War Memorial, Kangra Art Museum, Dall Lake, McLeodgnj, St. Johns Church etc. Later depart to Dalhousie by Road. Arrive at Dalhousie and check into the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 05: Dharamshala Kangra Chamunda Jawala jee
After Breakfast shall depart for the sidh piths of Himachal Pradesh, Brajeshwari temple in Kangra, Chamunda Devi Temple in Kangra and Jawala Jee Temple and then back to Mcleodganj for the overnight stay.
Day 06:  Dharamshala - Pathankot (90 kms / 02 hrs)
After breakfast check out from the Hotel & drive to Pathankot Railway Station to connect train / airport for your onwards destination.
