Thiruvananthapuram Central Railway Station is one of the major railway stations in South India and offers excellent rail connectivity with Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Kochi, and several other cities. Local taxis, buses, and auto rickshaws are readily available outside the station.
