Kriya Yoga is an ancient Yoga system revived in modern times by Mahaavatar Babaji. It is said that Mahaavatar Babaji received Kriya Yoga from Bhagwan Shri Krishna himself.
 
According to the ancient Yogic text the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, contains a description of Kriya Yoga in the second chapter II.49 "Liberation can be attained by that pranayama which is accomplished by disjoining the course of inspiration and expiration."
 
The Kriya yoga system consists of a number of levels of pranayama, mantra, and mudra based on techniques intended to rapidly accelerate spiritual development and engender a profound state of tranquility and God-communion.
This divine & spiritual journey to Babaji cave which gives you an insightful divine experience in the presence of the immortal Mahavatar Babaji under the shadow of the mighty Himalaya, where Lahiri Mahasaya met first time with Babaji as householder & Babaji preached him again to recollect the secret of Kriya Yoga in the Cave in 1861 in order to make it available to all.
The focal part of this trip will be making a visit Babaji’s cave, is perched an altitude of about 2000 meters from the sea level. This part of your visit employs an easy level trek which invests your 60 -90 minutes. This rough trek pathway is established by small rocks. Some parts are a little steep in the path, at an angle up to 45 degrees. Some places there are uneven steps established by big rocks. The rocky steps are at uneven size, some probably a foot high.

Itinerary

  1. Day 01

    New Delhi - Nainital

    345 kms 8 hrs

    Meeting with our representative at your Hotel & Airport, in a private transport drive to Ranikhet.  en-route visit Kainchi Dham at Baba Neem Karoli Ashram near Nainital. Overnight stay at Hotel. 

  2. Day 02

    Ranikhet

    Mahavatar Babaji Cave 55 Kms / 02 hrs and 03 Kms Trek

    This is the Kriya Yoga retreat day with observing silence in the midst of the Himalaya with nature, a brief spiritual discourse into the Himalayan Mountains, and awareness retreat along with the importance of the Himalaya in the path of spiritual growth, which allows reestablishing the spiritual energy with nature within as a part of the preparation to pay homage to Babaji Cave. Dinner & Overnight. 

  3. Day 03

    Ranikhet

    Mahavatar Babaji Cave 55 Kms / 02 hrs and 03 Kms Trek

    Meditation at the hotel followed by the morning breakfast. 08:00 AM- you will drive in the Private Transport to Babaji Cave.
    10:00 AM- You arrive at Kukuchina village, at the tail end of the road to start trekking to Mahavatar Babaji Cave.
    11:30 AM to 03:00 PM- Mahavatar Babaji Cave Meditation and have relax time to assimilate the energy of the Cave & explore the vicinity of the cave on your own. Later trek back
    04:30 PM- You arrive at the tail end of the road to drive back to Hotel in Ranikhet, Dinner at Hotel. Overnight.
     

  4. Day 04

    Ranikhet - New Delhi

    345 Kms / 08 Hrs

    Morning Transcendental meditation at Hotel followed by the morning Breakfast. Then, You will drive directly by road to New Delhi transfer Airport & Railway Station. 
    Note:-Drive taken from Ranikhet to Delhi is around 07 hours drive.
