Itinerary

  1. Day 01

    New Delhi - Manali

    10 - 12 hrs

    Morning pick up from Delhi / Chandigarh After drive to Manali, complete long drive check at Hotel. Overnight at Manali Hotel.

  2. Day 02

    Manali

    Local Sightseeing Tour

    After breakfast local sightseeing of Manali "HADIMBA TEMPLE" Built in 1553 with a superbly crafted four tiered pagoda roof, it is famous for its exquisitely carved doorway . "CLUB HOUSE" The Club House with its comprehensive facilities that include a roller skating rink, an auditorium, billiards rooms, a library, a bar and restaurant makes wonderful outing for the day." Tibetan Monastery, Van Vihar, and "VASHIST" Well known for its hot springs. There are old temples dedicated to the sage Vashisth and to Lord Rama.

    Manali - Rohtang Pass

    Full Day Local City Tour

    Full day tour of Rohtang Pass – The majesty of the mountains and the glaciers can be seen at their best, you have next two hours to enjoy this snowy haven. Take a sledge ride down the slopes, try your luck climbing the little snow hills. On you’re descents to Manali, halt at the Rahalla falls and Solang Valley. The Magnificent views and natural beauty are a never-ending source of delight. Also halt at Marhi, Ralha falls, Nehru Kund. Return to the hotel for Overnight stay in Manali.

  4. Day 04

    Manali

    235 kms / 06 hrs

    After breakfast check out from the Hotel & drive to Dharamshala. Dharamshala is 235 kms from Manali and journey time is five to six hours. Arrive & transfer to hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Night stay in Dharamshala.

  5. Day 05

    - Dalhousie

    120 kms / 03. 5 hrs

    After breakfast visit Baijnath – the oldest existing Shiva temple in the country, War Memorial, Kangra Art Museum, Dall Lake, McLeodgnj, St. Johns Church etc. Later depart to dalhousie by Road. Arrive at dalhousie and check into the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure or optional visit to Chamba Valley known for its 8th century Laxminarayan temple and Bhuri Singh Museum which houses a rare collection of Kangra Pintings. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

  6. Day 06

    Dalhousie - Khajjiar

    By Surface

    Full day sightseeing to Khajjiar, 18 kms from dalhousie. It’s one of the most scenic saucer shaped Plateau and is surrounded by dense pine and deodar forests. Its beauty has further been enhanced by a small lake in the center with a floating island and a 9 hole golf course here are the other interesting places to cover. Return to dalhousie and overnight stay at the hotel in dalhousie.

  7. Day 07

    Dalhousie - Amritsar

    200 kms / 04. 5 hrs

    Morning after breakfast drive to Amritsar Upon arrival check in at Hotel, Evening visit Wagah Border to watch Border Retreat Ceremony. The pageant of the beating of the retreat and the change of guard within handshaking distance of the Indian and Pakistani forces here makes the most charming of the spectacles as a daily evening drill. Ascertain the timings before you leave to see this spectacle since these are changed seasonally. Wagah is the only land border open between Pakistan and India. Night stay in Amritsar.

  8. Day 08

    Amritsar

    Morning after breakfast visit Golden Temple -is the most sacred temple for Sikhs. It is a symbol of the magnificence and strength of theSikh people all over the world. In the evolution of the Darbar Sahib, is entwined the history and ideology of Sikhism. In its architecture are included, symbols associated with other places of worship. This is an example of the spirit of tolerance and acceptance that the Sikh philosophy propounds.Also, visit Jallianwala Bagh- Martyrs’ Memmorial built in the shape of eternal flame of liberty is situated on the outskirts of Golden Temple. Here about 1500 and 2000 persons who were attending a peaceful meeting during the freedom movement fell under the bullets of the British General Dyer on 13 April 1919 and the city of Amritsar. Afternoon drive to Delhi. Upon arrival drop at airport to connect flight for onwards destionation. OPTIONAL You can take flight or train from Amrtisar.
